I was getting the impression from the helplines that you can't get Outlook 2016 to sync with anything else and am beginning to believe that's true.I have exported all the data (emails, calendar, contacts etc.) from one Outlook PST file into a new PST file, and am now using this new file instead. The only reason I've not got round to asking for a refund is because I want Access, which is not available in Believe it or not, this is an abbreviated version of all I've tried or been told to do by Microsoft.Going into FILE and Account information and changing the entry there to [email protected]
makes no difference. It was after this that Microsoft hung up on me (after some hours) and never got back to me although they did have my number.Neither does going into Account Settings and changing the default address to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or deleting the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** address altogether. I have tried sending a share request from but although I sometimes get the email (I've tried several times) it does not contain an 'accept' button just a link that sends you to a web page that is 'not found'.In order for the Suggested Contacts to work, you also need to enable the following checkbox: My dropdown Outlook contact list wouldn't show up when typing first letter of contact name when using Chrome browser. Under mail, scroll down until you reach "send messages" - check the last box (use auto-complate list to suggest names when typing in the to, cc, and bcc lines).Solution that worked for me was pressing "ctrl -" while in inbox and changing size to 90%.
